Week 21. Not much physically has changed, well..i always say that and then end up realizing a bunch of new things so... my weight is the same- thanks baby Z for the continual nausea and food aversions. i have had headaches with a capital H for weeks now. Every.single.day.and.night. i tried Tylenol, muscle relaxers, etc. Nothing really consistently worked. See, i have 5 6 types of headaches and i know the cures for them. 1= lack of sleep. 2=dehydration. 3= lack of caffeine (if i've been drinking a lot of coffee and then stop) 4= not eating enough. 5= hangover type. (6 is migraine) I know how to rid myself of all of those and none of my specialized-through the years home treatments worked. Eventually Joe suggested they might be sinus headaches.
Who me? Sinus', allergies, huh? I've never been allergic to anything in my life except hospital tape (the kind they use to tape your IVs to you)-yeah count on me to pick the weirdest thing and be allergic to it.
Anyway, got some pregnancy-safe allergy/sinus headache meds and voila! Headache gone! So i'm going to keep that med around now because it's a potential #7.
Not much belly growth but major boob growth on one side. yes, it's lovely. One has always been slightly larger and now is dramatically so but i am not concerned. Milk ducts usually have a way of figuring themselves out.
Oh and another thing, for the last 4 days and counting, Z. has been kicking up a storm most every time i sit down and certainly when i'm sitting down at night watching tv or doing homework or whatever. I've considered that perhaps he's celebrating the olympics (maybe one day he'll be in them...) but sheesh! No extra caffeine on my part. Neither of my boys kicked so much, so frequently, so regularly and at the same times every night. It's kinda weird but obviously he's a strong child and that's always good so...
i suppose i've been uncontrollably nesting for the last 2 weeks. If Joe had admin access here he'd cross out the "suppose" lol. Much to my amazement and surprise, between one of Joe's sister's and one of his co-workers, we practically have everything we need for this baby. I did buy a changing table for $15 but we now have a crib, bassinet, car-seat/stroller system, all the bouncy, things and tons of toys! It's incredible. It was like an instant babyshower cause it all came during two days. I had registered at toysrus.com and initially my list was about 120 items..now it's gone down to about 30- and those are mostly towels, blankets and breast milk storage containers and such.
I am so grateful to you Lainie and Kami for supporting and helping us with all of this. It has made a lot of stress disappear and a lot of nesting begin. lol.
think that's it.
